Things I've Learned: Thanksgiving Round-Up
Jan 26 2005

Things I’ve learned over the last few days:
badracket

  • Getting beat at video games by an 8-year-old is extremely frustrating.
  • RENT‘ is terrible. You’d be better to spend $50 for a ticket on Broadway than to spend a dime on the movie.
  • 8-year-olds will repeat anything you say, and look for any opportunity to use what they’ve heard. (“dang” “crap” “sucks”… etc.)
  • This world is full of morons… and most of them can be found at Wal-Mart at 5:00 AM the morning after Thanksgiving. [video 1 - video 2]
  • Chicks dig purple “violet” Polo shirts. Whether or not they dig me remains to be seen… especially if I keep using the word “dig.”
  • Badminton is extremely underated, and quite the vengeance tool for the 8-year-old who just beat you at video games and repeated all the “dirty words” you said while losing.
