Landon's Semi-Homosexual Look at The Hills
posted on May 31 2006

WHAT was LC thinking??? Letting her brand new friends crash the Teen Vogue party? C’mon Lauren… you’re smarter than that.

Basically, MTV could a have made a show called LC Shovels Poop and I would have tuned it.

Here’s some thoughts on The Hills

:

Heidi 1o megapixel digital camera macro capability is ignunt (ignorant). I predict that she’ll either be kicked out or drop out of fashion school by years’ end.

Whitney is funny, innocent, and just waiting to be corrupted by LA scumbags. COME TO THE SOUTH, WHITNEY! We’re southern gentlemen down here. We’ll wine you, dine you, and football-time you. You deserve better.

Audrina (or ‘Drina) is the brunette of the bunch - and I love them brunettes. However… her teeth don’t match her face. (Does that make sense?)

Anyways. I’m losing jock points already by discussing this too much. I’m gonna go look at old high school football stuff to win back some cool points.

Your thoughts?

Beach Blogging
posted on May 30 2006

So I feel a little bit guilty about the lack of posts today. Especially after all the “Ohmagosh I read your blog everyday!” comments I recieved over the weekend.

However, I’m in one of those “in-between” locations on the beach… just east of Seaside, Florida. I’m close enough to a cellphone tower to get a roaming signal… but far enough to make it difficult to get on the Internet via my Treo.

I’ve tried to steal borrow a faint wireless internet connection a couple of times - but their firewall doesn’t like me.

I must say that’s it’s been nice to be “away” from the television (we only get one - very fuzzy - station here) the Internet (yes… even I need a break from all-things-dot-com now and again) and people… I’m kidding. I love you all and already miss the lovely faces I saw over the weekend in Mississippi.

I’ll be departing here tomorrow around noon after sneaking in one more beach session. I’ll drop by Peach Park in Clanton, Alabama and snag dinner at Milo’s in Birmingham - arriving home just in time to catch The Hills on MTV before digging the sand out of my iPod case.

I’ll have a full round-up of the past few days. I’ve got a LOT of names to list… and yours might just be one of them. Plus, I’ll have plenty of stuff to help you waste your time during Thursday and Friday’s workhours.

I’ve decided to make tomorrow “TV Day.” I’ll have a few old school shows for you to enjoy.

Alright… I’m off to go sit by the shore until midnight. (Sorry, I just had american pie presents beta house movie to rub it in.)

A news station in Cleveland sets up cameras by a library computer and catches a “having sex with himself.” They then confront him… and his father.

Also, people like the library manager they interview are the type that will stand by and allow this great nation to spiral downward into nothing more than a nation of politically correct forgivers who always feel like giving somebody a second chance…. and a third chance… and a fourth chance… until the “forgiven” rape and murder your daughter.

Thanks sweetheart!

LOST Q & A

A grrreat Q & A from the Washington Post on the LOST finale and the show up to this point.

We’ve got a lot of questions unanswered, folks. The show continues to amaze me each week as the plot line thickens and becomes more and more intertwined.

Landon’s Food Round-Up
posted on May 26 2006

As in the past, I took it upon myself to once again throw my tastbuds in harms way for you, the reader.

The two new products sampled are the Famous Bowl at KFC and the brand spankin’ new Chick-fil-A milkshakes.

KFC Famous Bowls

After seeing the adds for this item you may have said, “All that in one bowl???”

Yes… popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, cheese, and corn. All together, separated layer-by-layer in one big bowl. However, you can ask to exclude certain items from the bowl.

Verdict: Very good. The corn doesn’t really fit in… but again, you can ask to subtract certain items.

Sizes: 1 bowl, 1 size. It’s about the size of you average breakfast cereal bowl.

Chick-fil-A Milkshakes

After turning one down the other day at the drive-thru window (I had already purchased an ice cream and brownie) I had to return on Friday for what promised to be a wonderful afternoon snack.

We all know that Chick is famous for producing quality food. Their milkshakes are no different.

    Verdict: Very, very good

Flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, and Cookies ‘n Cream

Size: There’s only one size… and it’s HUGE.

Rebekah was Miss MC, Homecoming Maid of Honor, Shawreth Sweetheart, and was active in countless other university clubs and organizations.

According to police reports, Carter was killed when:

“…a vehicle driven by Edward Charles Ransom was traveling north on the interstate when it veered across the median and landed on top of a 2004 Oldsmobile driven by Rebekah Carter. Carter, 27, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was killed, and Ransom, 29, of Laurel, was ejected from his vehicle. According to Snyder, Ransom was run over by a third vehicle.”

Thoughts on Last Night’s TV

Idol

  • Though I was flipping back-and-forth for the last hour I found the overall show to be very weak. The guest performers were boring, and there was a look on Katharines face the whole night of, “I know I lost… can we just go ahead and announce it?”
  • You’ll notive that they didn’t announce the difference in votes between the two constestants. This obviously points to a Taylor landslide.
  • Clay Aiken looked creepy… and this was even creepier.
  • Katharine’s boobs were outta control.
  • LOST

    I don’t even know where to begin…

  • We now know that the date the plane went down was September 22, 2004.
  • Desmond “caused” the plane crash.
  • There’s some mysterious foot from a much larger statue on the island.
  • …I can’t wrap my head around last night’s episode. It. Was. AWESOME!

Question of the Day: Your Moment, Your Song

In honor of last night’s American Idol finale.

    Question:

If you were in the final two on American Idol and had one song to convince America to vote for you… what song would you sing?
