I was channel surfing last night just before I headed off to bed when I came accross Nick at Nite who was running the first episode of the Cosby Show, which made me think of my favorite Cosby Show moments. One of which is the famous Gordon Gartrell incident where Theo… well… either you’ve seen it a thousand times or you’ve never seen it at all. So I’m not going to explain it.
Enjoy.

10:17 am on Jun 29 2006I like the “theo got an earring” episode and all episodes that invovled mass-family lip syncing.
Gundy: The “I can take you out” episode is the best. I love it when the crowd starts clapping and Cliff says: …that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard!
My favorite episode by far is the one where they turn the house into the fake apartment for Theo and Cliff is Harley Weewax the apartment manager and every one else plays a different part. Rudy is the banker. I watch that one every time I catch it on!!! Good stuff…
My favorite is when Rudy and Vanessa yell “Who It Is” outside of Cliff and Claire’s bedroom.
Gundy & Landon – I agree. The “I can take you out” episode in the best one. I call it the “Monopoly” episode.
Jennifer – i love the ‘who it is’ too. so funny.
Raegan – I agree – that’s a great one. Theo really was a good actor. I also like the episode where Vanessa and Theo talk about how hard it is for them b/c “they have so much money” and their parents have set them up for failure b/c of how successful they are.
Barger: When Theo starts bragging about the money he has leftover and Cliff says, “You plan on having a girlfriend?”
I knew I was old the other day when I was talking to a girl out at a bar and she was too young to remember the Cosby Show being on network tv.

I love the cosby show. My favorite episode is the gift/bet episode where cliff and his two son-in-laws have a bet over who is the most romantic. Hilarious. Also, the episode where cliff tells theo, “Theo, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard” and “I brought you into this world, and I can take you out” is also classic. It’s probably my favorite sitcom ever.
