The church I attend (Reedemer) is #16 on the list Drew linked to and my parents megachurch (Prestonwood in Dallas) isn’t even in the rankings. Take that mom and dad! Seriously though I kind of like that Tim Keller is the only church leader listed who doesn’t have a glamour headshot.

I was talking about Mars Hill to Josh Shepherd and he mentioned another article where the pastor got frustrated that the only thing journalists seems to bring up is the churches view on the role of the wife. It’s a shame that a church that seems to being doing so much good for the community has to be constantly attacked for one issue that they just take a more literal interpretation of than is fashionable.
Exactly. Pastor Mark made the comment the other night that if he could change one thing that the Bible said it would be the role of women… just so people would stop bothering him.
But hey, it’s Seattle. The attitude is that women and men are exactly alike and there are no major differences between the two.
