For the first time since December 27, I was able to partake of the chicken delicacy known as Chick-fil-A.
After we secured our trip a few weeks back, I knew from my research that unlike the Pacific Northwest, California has Chick-fil-A’s scattered about. I found one that was “on our way” back from Nappa Valley to the Bay Area. It was tucked away into a suburban mall. But heck… they could have been serving it out of shoe boxes at a road-side stand and I wouldn’t have complained.
They biggest surprise: they actually served sweet tea. (Do they serve sweet tea at every location?)
Anyway… no, I didn’t bring a few sandwiches back to put into the freezer for a rainy day. I figure that’s taking a chance, and that Chick-fil-A is a dish served best hot… with waffle fries… and sweet tea… and an Ice Dream… and a fudge nut brownie… and maybe a milkshake… the cookies-n-cream kind.
Oh, Chick-fil-A Northwest Franchise Expansion… why hast thou foresaken me?

10:24 am on May 30 2007the one at NYU doesn’t have sweet tea… lemonade… but no sweet tea.
Oh and it’s about to be closed for the summer (when the dorm it’s in closes) so I think I better stop by soon… if it’s not too late.

Last week when I was home, I ate Chick-fil-A 4 (yes four) times. I’m serious.
