Here’s the full list. Below are a couple of my personal favs.

Those of you who’ve come to visit us in Seattle have been privy to the Landon Howell Tour. While my tour leaves much to be desired, you’ve all been complimentary as we hopped from the Original Starbucks to Gas Works Park to the floating house used in Sleepless In Seattle.
So, if you really liked the tour and you REALLY like Seattle, you might want to think about ponying up $2.5 million for the floating house.
We’d help you move in and we’d come over to hang out anytime you like.

The 2,075-square-foot houseboat on Lake Union was featured in the 1993 film featuring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan is selling for $2.5 million.
[...]
Agent Rick Miner says the owners, a husband and wife, bought it 14 years ago and love it, but they want to move to the East Coast to be near their grandchildren.
The houseboat was built in 1978 and has four bedrooms, nearly two full bathrooms, large windows and views of downtown Seattle.
We ran into a situation over the weekend that most of you run into ever-so-often: a bad waiter/waitress. I won’t go through the whole scenario, though I will state that it was our favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle:
- My cerveza was warm.
- It took us 30 minutes to get chips and salsa.
- I asked for pico de gallo with our chips and salsa… never came.
- Chelsea was charged $1.50 for a thimble-full of guacamole.
- The waitress just didn’t seem to care, except when she slapped on her fake smile every 15 minutes when swung by the table during our 45 minute stay.
I tipped her $2.00 total (Chelsea and I were on the same bill) and I regret tipping her that much. I wanted to get your thoughts about tipping. My understanding (based on conversations with a few of you former super servers at Archestratus Grill) has always been that 15% is the minimum you should tip… 20% for good service.
Do you have your own tipping chart you keep hidden in the part of you brain right next to Saved By The Bell facts and
My tipping chart is as follows:
- Great job: 25-30%
- Good job: 15-20%
- Pretty bad: $1.00
- Terrible job: no tip*
*I’ve not tipped 3 times in my life. All three times I left a note on the receipt explaining (politely) as to why. I’ve been told this could come off a little condescending. Eh.
Thoughts?
One of the best previews we’ve seen this year (aside from Iron Man) was the preview for The Strangers which aired just before Baby Mama over the weekend.
It’s (allegedly) inspired by true events.

Sorry for last week’s snafu regarding the comments section. I should have known something was up when I praised USM and blasted MSU in the same post and got no response.
The comments are working again (for now) as I’ve changed some of the settings. Use this opportunity to test the parameters and catch-up on unexpressed opinions from the last week.
I’ve been given the heads-up that the comments section within each post is messed up at the moment. I’ll dig into it this weekend. I appreciate the patience.
Post a link of interest in the comments section. Only one at a time or else the spambot will getcha.
