…I might as well set up a running header with links to McCain’s videos. Politics is fun.
Say hello to Senator Joe Biden… potentially the next Vice-President of the United States of America.
Mariners are good at something this year: vegetarian offerings
None of which we have eaten. (We prefer the Dixie’s BBQ and jumbo hot dogs.)
I.O.U.S.A. is a great film. We sat in a packed house in a large theater last night to watch both the documentary, as well as the post-movie live discussion session; Warren Buffet was one f the 5 on the discussion panel.
Not so much Bush-bashing as it was government incompetence-bashing. I highly recommend.
Though none of the liberal-Seattleites in the room would admit to it… I.O.U.S.A. is case for President for John McCain.
A Democrat’s take on why Obama’s “tax the rich” could mean bad things for business, translating into worse things for the economy, meaning even worse things for you:
If he raises taxes as promised, it will mean I’ll have to pay even higher taxes on money that I’m not seeing. That will force me — and a lot of other business owners — to take out more and reinvest less. That’s how you strangle a business — and ultimately the economy.”
But hey, keep trying to ‘stick it to the man’ you crazy hippies. Just keep in mind that ‘the man’ is providing 99% with out current jobs.
Obama thought he’d be silly and make fun of the fact that super-wealthy John McCain didn’t know how many properties he owned.
