The Bad from the Weekend

Walker lost. Southern Miss lost. The Seahawks lost. Chelsea and I made the mistake of watching the VMAs… a mistake I seem to make every year. It was like a mini-Obama rally… which only solidified my support of John McCain — if this guy supports Obama, I’ll be a McCain supporter until Palin puts on a Klan outfit.

The Good from the Weekend

The weather was perfect: 72 and sunny… not a cloud in the sky; the whole reason we live in the PacNorthwest. We watched the Mariners beat the Yankees.We took three trips to our new espresso favorite, Portland-based Seattle extension Stumptown Coffee. Enjoyed Transsiberian. And McCain/Palin took a 3 point lead, a 4 point lead, and a 10 point lead in 3 polls.

The Week Ahead

We’re attending our first true Pac 10 game this weekend: Washington vs #3 Oklahoma. After this weeks’ snafu… rest assured this will be a blast to attend.
