After requesting suggestions last fall, Damages and Friday Night Lights were given to us by my mom and dad at Christmas, and we’ve become highly addicted to both.

   you need to watch the first season of BREAKING BAD…this is quality television…not as good as FNL, but still very, very good…i would go BREAKING BAD before TRUE BLOOD…get through season 2 of FNL only so you can fully appreciate season 3 which exists in a stratosphere of its own

   I wish I had all 12 hours I wasted watching True Blood back. Every week my roommate and I would watch it and say “why are we sitting through this crap again?” but we stuck it out… and it wasn’t worth it… at all. The acting was bad, the southern accents were worse, the main murder mystery was unsatisfying and the romantic elements were befitting something my dearly departed Grandmother may of read in those stacks of romance novels she kept next to her reading chair. Lots of nudity though in True Blood… so it’s got that going for it.

   Best new tv show:
   “Listen up cause I’m about to lay some truth on you…” Eastbound and Down was fantastic. Kenny F’ing Powers.

   Weeds is classic.

   If you can get over it’s a cartoon, Venture Brothers is better than 99% of the live action stuff on TV.

   And seriously just watch the Wire, if anything so I don’t have to say it anytime you ask this question. You won’t be disappointed. No one ever is.

   I just want to know when Mad Men starts again. I watched an old episode yesterday and remembered why it’s so amazing…I forget to move while I’m watching it because I’m so into the story. If anyone knows when the new season premiers, please share!
