Whoa.
Our indoor soccer team won, again.
With me as goalie.
This world has gone mad.
12-7 win (yeah, a few got past me) and we’re in first place with 5 games remaining in the season.
Sorry for the slow week around here. My computer crashed on Monday and I’ve actually relished the evenings of being internet-less.
That being said… it’s Friday. Happy Mariners Day.

There are days I wish I smoked, simply so I’d be able to take a smoke break.
Eugene: Hey Brooklyn, come home with me.
Peggy Olson: Nuh-uh.
Eugene: Why not? I live alone.
Peggy Olson: Why should I?
Eugene: Because I like you, and we’re having a good time, and I’m a good kisser and you know you want to.
Peggy Olson: Eugene, I’m in the persuasion business, and frankly I’m disappointed by your presentation.
…being held by a guy outside of church Sunday night. Wrong crowd, dude.
Blowup girlfriend popped.
Need money to patch the whole.
Watching online I yelled and hollered like it was college football season. The Sounders overcame a 1-0 deficit to score in the 89th minute, and win in overtime.
U.S. Open Championship, here we come.
Heading back to the South for the first time since Christmas. Heading to the Gulf Coast for a couple of days, then onto Seaside for 4-ish days, and then the good ole high school reunion. We’ll be in Jasper for less than 48 hours, and most likely not be in Hattiesburg at all.
One of the best sports articles I’ve read since I moved to Seattle…
Something remarkable is happening in Seattle. The Sounders have tapped into a sports void in this town. They have created an alliance between a franchise and its fans.
The Jasper City Board of Education hired Jeremy Crigger as principal of Walker High School Monday afternoon at its monthly board meeting.
[...]
While Crigger’s exact salary is still unknown, Sparkman said it would be about $92,000 per year.

He’s one of my favorite artists of all time. So if you somehow overlooked the link to his myspace page with free music, I suggest you click.

Ho.Lee.Poo.
We won. Our indoor soccer team actually won (and with myself in goal, mind you). After leading 2-0 at the half we finished 5-3, with me yelling to “do anything with the ball, except let it get near me.”
We’re 1-0… I almost forgot what winning felt like.2
