My name is Landon Howell and this is my blog. I’m a 28-year-old southern transplant who happily resides in Seattle, Washington. I run the blog from my home on Queen Anne Hill. In my spare time I take pictures, eat Top Pot doughnuts, and make attempt to discover new, hole-in-the-wall Seattle coffee joints.

I was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and grew up in Jasper, Alabama. The son of a Southern Baptist music minister and an public school educator, I was raised the way all good little boys and girls in the South should be: a conservative, God-fearing, football-tossing, Ronald Reagan-loving, flag-waving Republican. I have one sibling, a brother named Aaron who just finished his second stint in China after living in Beijing for 1 year.

I’m married to the lovely Chelsea Dossett Howell of Hattiesburg, MS/Los Angeles, CA after a small ceremony on October 18, 2008 in Seaside, Florida.

I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Mississippi College with a focus of Public Relations and Marketing.
