- Landon Howell – I have been reading Landon’s blog for years now. He is a guy from Jasper and he posts random things – anything from politics, Jasper, old school tv shows, whatever – its fun to read.
We had serious business to tend to around these parts over the weekend. “Serious business” is code for watching Step Brothers on Saturday, late night dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.
That said, the “slow page loading” on the blog is persisting and I am digging to find out why. I appreciate your patience.

Sorry for last week’s snafu regarding the comments section. I should have known something was up when I praised USM and blasted MSU in the same post and got no response.
The comments are working again (for now) as I’ve changed some of the settings. Use this opportunity to test the parameters and catch-up on unexpressed opinions from the last week.
I’ve been given the heads-up that the comments section within each post is messed up at the moment. I’ll dig into it this weekend. I appreciate the patience.

In the case that you missed yesterday’s explanation regarding ‘MSU Week’ in the comments section, here it is.
I’ve had very little time over the past 5 days to assemble detailed posts, though I was banking on the State fans of the blog (of which there are more than a few) to submit ‘why I love MSU’ entries.
In any case, it should have been better.
So, I’ll be taking suggestions via the comment section below as to what you think should be done in order to make up for my “slacking.” (It’s been a busy week, folks.) No stupid crap like “MSU Month!” or “leave the M State logo on your blog for the rest of the the year.” Everyone would simply read your comment and laugh. Anyone can propose a solution, not just ‘Dawgs. So, once again, I’m giving you free range to propose anything within reason. Don’t disappoint.
If you noticed yesterday’s interesting (and saddening) post, you’ll be happy to know that it was all a hoax.

I am going to kill myself in 90 days. What else should i say? This blog is not a cry for help or even to get attention. It’s simply a public record of my last 90 days in existence.
It’s been painfully obvious today that there are major issues involving blog access.
I’ve spent time on the phone today Yahoo! (who hosts the website) and we’re yet to figure out the major issues.
For now, I’m opting to publish a crappy version of the blog until I can figure out what errors exists.

Thanks for all the feedback over the last 4 days concerning the way I’m “tweaking the blog. We’ve still got some work to do on it, and I appreciate the constructive criticism.
The main motivation for “cleaning up” the blog was to find out why the blog is loading slowly, as well as to present information in a way that’s easier for me to write and for you to read.
I will be adding/changing a few more things over the next few days. Keep the comments coming.
