Crap I can’t afford via a website that is free:
Another installment of great stuff from a great site. (There’s one for you girls, too.)

Recent findings from the website full of stuff I wanna spend my paycheck on. Ladies, don’t worry… there’s a site for you as well.
Anybody else catch themselves counting the number of items in a persons grocery buggy in the express checkout?
I went to Wal-Mart the other night to witness a husband and wife scan… 77 items. Yes, 77 items. (It was the self checkout, but none of the Wal-Mart employees had the balls to walk over and tell them to leave the line.)
You ever been out shopping for clothes and suddenly realized you’ve wandered into the wrong section?
…yeah, me too.

A list of stuff I’ve bookmarked at my favorite “hey guys, spend your paycheck here” site.

Just in case your weather is a little gloomy like it is here today (I spoke too soon) the second seasons of Grey’s Anatomy and The Office were released yesterday on DVD.
Danielle, Jenna and I started Grey’s last night, knocking-off two episodes… only 25 more to go… geeez.
Do yourself a huuuge favor if you haven’t yet seen The Office and pick up season two as soon as possible. You’ll laugh yourself silly all weekend.
Get to know both these shows as I’m sure they will be included in many of our Thursday night entertainment packages throughout this year.
More goodies from my “you’re dreaming if you think you can afford all that crap” website.
Don’t forget ladies, there’s one for you to get addicted to as well.
Uncrate is wonderful site filled with stuff for guys. They also have a wonderful site for women called Outblush.
Think of it as an online Sears Wishbook (yeah, you remember dog-earing pages in those suckers around Christmas time, don’t you?).
You can create a free account where you can then “add” items to your list. That way, after I move, start my new job, save up enough money, pay off all my traveling expenses, take my tithes to the Lord’s storehouse… I can buy certain items just in time for Christmas 2025!
Seriously though… this is good stuff. Some items I’ve “tagged” as of late:

So… I went to Wal-Mart at 2:00 AM Thursday night.
I know what you’re thinking: “What could you possibly need at 2:00 in the morning!?!?” It’s not what I needed… it’s what I wanted.
I’d been doing some reading; catching-up on some articles and blogs of interest. All of a sudden I got a craving. A craving for Mike & Ikes. Like any good Southern town, the Wal-Mart in Jasper is always open, and they’ve always got Mike & Ike.
But as I stepped into the only open checkout line, I got to thinking the same thing as you: What could these people possibly need/want at 2:00 AM?
Of the 8 people in line, here’s what people were buying:
-
A body pillow
Two 5 lbs free-weights
Pellet gun that shoots rubber bbs
Bottle of margarita mix
Microwaveable burritos
DVD of ‘Biloxi Blues’
Air freshener
An all pink bathroom set
A brown women’s spagetti-strap shirt
I had to by sly about how I noted what people were buying as I typed everything into my Treo. About half-way through, the guy behind me said (without even trying to be subtle) in thick, southern accent:
-
“That’s a damn computer… a damn calculator!”
…all I just wanted was some Mike & Ike’s.
I don’t think it’s a secret that I’m a 5-year-old trapped in a 25-year-old’s body. I reallyreallyreally want to go see Cars.
I have yet to dislike anything Pixar creates… Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo. Come on over and we’ll throw Toy Story 2 into the VCR and make some popcorn.
If anybody sees Cars over the weekend lemme know how it is. I’m stuck indoors.
The new Spring Line has just been released at DaVille Outfitters.
I’ve been MIA for a couple months now, so it’s nice to see things are chuggin’ along.
Remember, 10% of all sales go to a different charity each month. We’re caring people… what can we say?
