Stop saying the f-word. (The other f-word.)

Stop saying the f-word: Followup.

Instead, say, "Does it make sense to..."

  • Does it make sense to sign the contract today?

  • Does it make sense to schedule an implantation session with your VP of Engineering?

You're just trying to make things clear for everyone, not push them to do something specific.

If they say 'no,' ask them what they think should come next.

If the answer is 'I don't know,' then ask, "What seems like a reasonable next step for me?"

If the uncertainty continues, go ahead and propose a next step yourself.
