Mezcla’s QR Code packaging design

I love this approach to marketing.

2020 was the year that we normalized the QR code in the US. I’m madly in love with Mezcla’s packaging which integrates QR codes into the experience.

Now that we’re over the hump of QR code adoption, the code on the packaging is a differentiated call-to-action that can resonate with anyone. It’s front and center, a part of the design, not hidden on the back near the nutrition labels.

The packaging is designed by local artists who live in the countries where the ingredients are sourced. By scanning the code you get access new art that changes each week.
