Casey Neistat’s vlogs require 1 hour of editing for every 1 minute of final video

Casey Neistat was the king of YouTube.

His vlogs were famous, and a daily watch for my wife and I for more than a year and a half.

In a recent interview with Steve-O — the whole conversation is pretty interesting if you followed Casey’s YouTube-to-Beme career — Casey talked about the stress and process of creating a daily vlog.

"I got it down to about a half an hour a minute, but it started at an hour a minute. So, for an eight minute vlog it'd be eight hours of editing and in the end it was a little bit closer to half that every day, every day. I think I did 800 episodes without missing one or something like that."
