The startup isn’t the idea. The startup is the execution.

“I already have an idea. I just need someone to build it.” Is like saying “I want to go to the moon, I just need someone to build the rocket.”

The startup is the planning, the scoping, the building, the testing, the marketing, the customer feedback, the iteration, the vision-setting, the hiring, the firing, the fundraising, among a seemingly infinite number of things ending in ing.

Ideas are easy. Execution is hard.
