Wikipedia is your obituary written while you’re alive

I love this line from Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia, in his interview with Tim Ferriss.

“So what is interesting is I, at one point in my Wikipedia entry, which I try not to pay too much attention to because I recommend that for everybody, it can drive you a bit crazy because it’s really is a hilarious sort of thing. It’s like more than anything else, it’s your obituary, but it’s written while you’re alive. There will be an obituary published somewhere, but it’s not going to be as important as your Wikipedia entry.”
