Do something

I was sifting through old Kindle highlights tonight and this one jumped out. It’s from The Idea Factory: Bell Labs and the Great Age of American Innovation.

“By the early twentieth century, physicists were already dividing into camps: those who theorized and those who experimented.”

If there’s ever a theme of my writing, it’s in doing vs. talking about what could be done.

This cry to “do something” is great because that’s what everyone at a well-run early-stage startup has the permission to do.

A sense of urgency and a sense of ownership are like peanut butter and jelly.
