Accelerator

An accelerator is a program or organization that helps startups to grow and develop by providing resources, mentorship, and support.

This can include access to funding, office space, networking opportunities, and educational programs. Techstars and Y Combinator are the two most well-known accelerators.

The goal of an accelerator is to help early-stage startups move quickly and efficiently toward becoming successful businesses.

The length of these programs can vary but typically last several months and culminate in a "demo day" where startups present their progress and pitch to a group of investors.
