Working my way through the new Amazon Unbound book and the marketer in me is in love with reading the details of all of the ways cities tried to win Amazon's HQ2.

As with all marketing tactics, everything old is new again. Stonecrest, Georgia was willing to rename the town after Amazon... much like Halfway, Oregon renamed itself Half.com in 2002.

Chicago, Philadelphia, and Raleigh were the actual Amazon HQ2 finalists, and the insights provided regarding the non-finalist cities were interesting.
