Superhuman is superhuman at GIFs

Every marketing and product team should study how Superhuman educates its users through the use of GIFs. It’s excellent. Simple, fast user education. One of the few companies whose marketing emails I look forward to.

People learn better by visualization. Images are better than text, but too many companies make the jump from images to video.

GIFs provide users with the same experience of a video, but without giving the user audio angst (“Is elevator music about to blare from my speakers?! I better rush to turn it down.”) or commitment issues with regard to video length (people are antsy and marketers feel the need to make videos unnecessarily long).

Here’s a new feature email I received today from Superhuman.
